Saying Goodbye, January 2012
Ellen M. Corcella, Of Counsel, left the Law Office of Jessica S. Lacy in January 2012 to take a position with the City of Indianapolis. As of January 9, 2012, Ms. Corcella is the new Chief of Professional Standards for the Office of the Public Safety Director. Although we will miss her, we couldn't be happier for Ms. Corcella, and we wish her the best at her new position.

Ellen Corcella, Of Counsel, appears on "60 Minutes" May 22, 2011
Our own Ellen M. Corcella, Of Counsel, appeared on "60 Minutes" Sunday, May 22, 2011, in a segment entitled "The FBI's Lin Devecchio and the Grim Reaper." In an interview with Anderson Cooper, Corcella, a former federal prosecutor assigned to the Racketeering Bureau of the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, describes the notorious relationship that developed between an FBI agent and Gregory Scarpa, Sr., a then muderous mafia soldier in the Colombo crime family.
Ms. Corcella says "This was a difficult ethical situation for me as a prosecutor. It raised the real question whether murderers should go free when the Constable engages in unethical behavior."
